FAQHow do I make sure the color I see on my computer is the true color of the fabric? Bargain Barn Fabrics makes every effort to ensure that the image you see on your monitor matches as closely as possible the actual fabric. Because colors may vary from one monitor to another we strongly urge you to buy samples to best match colors. Samples may not be available for every piece listed. Because we sell on a first come basis you must evaluate if you have time for a sample to arrive, and an order to be placed. Is there a minimum order? With cut yardage we request you order a minimum of one (1) yard. You can purchase as many pieces as you like there is no other minimum. How are your products sold? As you view our products and select items for your shopping cart, those items are totaled. Next your addresses are confirmed for billing if you are paying by a credit card and for destination of shipment. Then your order passes through our secure checkout where your payment selection is made. This completes your part of the order process. Now we begin processing your order in our warehouse. If you are ordering cut yardage, we cut your order package and ship to your designated shipping destination. Can I change or cancel my order? It is our best effort to ship as soon as an order is received and payment process is complete. Order changes can not be accommodated after shipment. Will my fabric or trim be shipped in one piece? Yes. If you ordered pre-cut sizes in fabric or trim those were cut to size when listed on our site. You may combine as many pre-cut pieces as you like but they are individual pieces as they are listed. Do you share customer information? No. Not ever. We appreciate your business and protect your privacy with the same courtesy we want for ourselves. When will my account be charged? Your account will be charged for the product plus shipping and handling at the time that your order is processed. Usually within 24 hours of the order. Do you ship outside the continental United States? No. Our shipping rates are for within the continential US only. We do not do international shipping. How long does it take to receive a refund? Refunds for product will be made after the product is returned and inspected upon receipt to evaluate the condition and then a refund for product less shipping and handling will be credited to your account within 14 days. All other refunds will be handled as quickly as possible. Transaction verification may be necessary. How does your pricing work? Fabrics are priced by the yard, also called "cut yardage" or fabric is sold by the piece as in pre-cut fabrics. Decorator trims are priced by the yard, also called "cut yardage" or by the piece as in pre-cut trims???extra specials are available by the pound. How much fabric will I need? Yardage charts are available for your use as a menu selection. These are recommendations only and are entirely based on our custom workshop experience. If you are a novice and question whether to order a little extra for an occasional mistake, please do that. When we sell out of your fabric selection we may not be able to procure it again for you. If I see the fabric today, can I get it from you at any time? Most of our fabrics are not re-orderable so if you want it please order it now. We do sell on a first order basis. If I choose several fabrics that look the same are they? Usually this question has to do with dye lots. If you are ordering several pieces at the same time we will inspect each of the pieces you order for dye lot match. If we have any question about the product you have ordered we will contact you before shipping. Do I have to take the whole piece or will you cut just what I need? For fabrics that have a piece price and are pre-cut, you do take the whole piece. Fabric sold by the yard is cut by full yards. 1 yard =36 inches. I make purses and soft furnishings. How can I get the very lowest price for trims? We love to work with people making new items for re-sale. In our Specials selection of the Menu you will find our very lowest of low pricing. Trims by the pound are admittedly a different way to shop, but it is good pre-selected quality sold by weight not by actual retail value. What are pound goods? Pound goods are pre-cut fabrics, decorator trims, leathers and vinyls that are grouped together by color and are a mixed grab-bag at a great discount. Everything selected for pound good bags are of usable size and good quality. See our Specials Menu for more information. How long will it take to get my order? Most orders are shipped within 1 business day. UPS picks up here each weekday. Orders received before 3:00pm will be sent out the next morning. Arrival times depend on your location. How much is shipping? We ship to the continental United States only. UPS shipping is measured by weight. Your shipping cost is $14.99 for your entire order. What methods of payment do you accept? We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Money orders. You can place your order online through our secure server or fax us your order at 1-540-947-2955. Payment for your order is processed prior to shipping. What is your return policy? Any order that was sold by the full piece may be returned within 10 days of receipt of the product in new condition, uncut, clean and smoke free. Customer must prepay return shipping. Cut yardage can not be returned. Cut yardage is when we have at your request cut a specified length of product for you. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Returns will be inspected upon receipt to evaluate the condition and then a refund for product less shipping and handling will be credited to your account within 14 days. Generally samples ordered through our cart can are a 1/4 yard. Small samples may be ordered through our retail store by email or by telephone (540-947-2894). Small samples are approximately 3" x 4" and represent the colors and not the overall pattern of the fabric. When small samples are ordered we need the item number for each sample. Small samples are 99c each. You may pay with Visa or Mastercard by telephone or enclose a check in the mail to us.
